I was born in Mt. Shasta, California and I grew up in Weed. (Note: I said IN Weed, not on Weed.) In highschool I was a cheerleader for Weed High--which could account for some of my teen problems :-)

This is a cute story from the Olympic games. It involves a gold medal, a Czech, an American, and a romance. Who can beat that?

You mentor teenage mothers? I admire that :)
I wrote my book to minister to young people through my writing, but I keep thinking I should also do something on a more personal level. Finding it difficult to step out though - I'm friendly but I've never really been a people person; always expressed myself better with the written word. So, how's the mentoring going?

MY GOD IS A GOD OF MIRACLES
I have sung songs of all kind ever since I learned to talk.
Never have I been very confident in speaking.
I have to admit that the Lords Holy Spirit has spoke to many through me while ministering in song, and I am thankful.
My love is all for Jesus, and I am thankful that everyday I am learning and falling deeper in love with Him every day.
It still takes my breath away to think back at all the times God intervened in my life, even before I gave myself to Him. He saw me as what I could be and saved my life many times.
I have had several people tell me that God does not perform miracles anymore {including my pastor}. I always thought with out speaking out loud,"You must not know the Jesus I know". I was always afraid to speak up.
1Co 12:28 In the church God has appointed first apostles, next prophets, third teachers, then those who perform miracles, then those who have the gift of healing, then those who help others, those who are managers, and those who can speak in a number of languages.
My first memory of my own experience of the love and precious mercy of Jesus was when I was five years old. "I won't get into details here - I'll write it in my blog because it is so important for ALL PEOPLE to know NOW what Jesus has done in my life and the lives of others around me.
So please take a moment to read my blog today.
I pray that you will receive a blessing just from knowing that Jesus IS REAL and YES! PRAISE HIM! HE DOES STILL DO MIRACLES TODAY!
