About Redneck Disciple Show On Disciple Radio

Now Heard On

Praise the Lord he has blessed me to be able
to have my own Internet Radio Station.
http://discipleradio.tk . be sure to check it out and as always lift the
name of the Lord and give him all the Praise.
When I was at a very young age, I felt that my true calling
was to preach. So I "did a Jonah" and ran for years. Finally after years of
running and praying about the calling that I thought that I was supposed to do,
it finally hit me. I thought that I was supposed to be a preacher in a church
but that is not what God had wanted from me. Confused yet? I was!! I have always
loved music and wanted to be a DJ from as far back as I could remember, my mom
had said that I used to go around pretending to be Wolman Jack with a hairbrush
in my little hand (hehe). A few years later, I became disabled and couldn't do
much out of the house. Already being an internet junky with limited things I
could do because of my disability, I stumbled onto INTERNET RADIO, and from
there my journey in music and ministry began.
I started listening to different stations and I wasn't getting what I wanted
from Rock, Hip-hop or any other type I could find. With me being a mixed music
lover all of my life, I began to DJ at a radio station called Hot Rocks Radio
and loved doing it. Wanting to move forward in my new obsession, I moved to a
station called WSRN and was a general manager for 4 stations, and there I also
started my own. Then one day, GOD spoke to me and said that this isn't what he
wanted me to play and who am I to question a voice from nowhere (lol). At this
time I hade been weakened and needed a "pick me up" and God provided as always.
I prayed and prayed cause I really loved what I was doing but GOD wanted me to
play his music and I had none. Then one day I missed typed the URL for the
station that I was managing (Which was Solid Rock Radio and I played popular
rock there) and guess what? A Christian radio station!! woohoo! I contacted the
manager and he started me off as program director and I enjoyed it so much. He
helped me get started, gave me some music, and sent me on my way. The owner of
the station and I wanted to start a Southern Gospel radio station because I love
that kind of music from my redneck heritage (Southern Kentucky). Thus Gloryland
Radio was born. A few months later, my good friend Donna at KKR contacted me
about her radio station and wanted me to DJ one night a week for her. So I tried
to go back to playing just regular rock and it didn't feel right then I had an
idea!! I couldn't be the only one who had felt like this and I wanted to do
something different, something GOD would be proud of. I took all the great
Christian music I had gathered and put it together and had my first show. It was
a huge success!! My call may have not been to preach in church on a Sunday
morning, but it was defiantly to get the word of God out there. And that day,
The Redneck Disciple Show was born!!
Now, I do a live show once a week and produce it for radio
stations around the world and offer it on my site to be aired at different times
and days throughout the week. So far I have 8 other internet stations and an AM
station airing it and the list is still growing. Who would have thought that the
little kid running around with a hairbrush would actually grow up to be a DJ and
doing Gods work all at the same time.
The show is a listener supported and with out the listeners
I can't do it. If you feel the need to donate please do so at?
http://www.redneckdisciple.com/redneckshow.
Now you have The Redneck Disciple Show Story... some
childhood dreams really do come true as long as you follow Gods plan. Thank you
and God Bless!!

Hello! I'm so looking forward to getting to know you better here at Shoutlife!
When you get a minute, pop over to my Shoutlife profile and my web site to see what God has me doing I traded my guitar for a computer.
I pray the last of the weekend will bring you good and wonderful things! And if anything weighs heavy on your heart, please let me join you in prayer, "for wherever two or more of us are gathered in His name." And isn't it comforting to know you needn't give me the details for our joined voices to deliver God's grace!
Eyes on Him,
(1 Corinthians 10:13)

Hi Folks,
It doesn't matter whether you're Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Conservative, or Liturgical you need to be aware of what God is doing in these days through the Messianic movement. The more we understand the roots of our faith in Judaism, the more we can understand what God wants us to know to make that faith grow.
It doesn't matter whether you like rock, country, contemporary, gospel, or hip hop, you need to grow in your musical tastes, and sample the rich tapestry of Messianic Jewish music that is available today. To that end, I would like to introduce you to two amazing Messianic artists, whose musical style is very unique, and totally wonderful.
Deborah Kline-Iantorno's music springs from her Jewish and Puerto Rican roots, and her years as a night club singer. Her songs are exciting, her voice is gorgeous, and the message she brings is right on.
Straight from Jerusalem, Israel, the songs of Rivka Whitten are alive and fresh. Her music is a unique mix of Yemenite Israeli vocals along with rhythms from around the world, and a gifted group of instrumentalists.
Please come on by, and check out a couple of amazing songs that I have put on my page, then you can go to www.newfaithfavorites.com and listen to all of them.
Thanks,
Jim
