OUR STORY

The ministry of Christopher & Christina started with a single glance across the lawn at a Gospel music event. One young drummer knew he saw the love of his life, whether she knew it or not!
However, this story goes back further, as Christopher & Christina started their musical careers apart.
Christopher came from a broken home as his parents divorced while he was still an infant. Christopher was raised by his single mother, but he spent much of his adolescent years on his grandparents' farm where he experienced down home morals and a deep love for Jesus.
Receiving his first drum set at the age of three and his first guitar at seven, Christopher's love for music began.
He remembers, "I would just play my heart out on the drums and guitar and sing away, knowing that God had a plan for me".
Christopher always dreamt of being a singer, and because of that, he pursued choir and other musical activities to gain knowledge and help embrace his musical abilities.
After being saved in 2001, he quickly got involved in Gospel music - playing drums and singing with various groups.
Meanwhile, Christina was also coming to the realization that she also had a deep love for music.
Christina was raised in a Christian home, as well as a musical home. She took piano lessons for quite a few years and sang with her family whenever the opportunity arose.
She responded, "My dream has always been to become a singer and even at a young age I knew the Lord had a calling on my life. I had this beautiful pink and white bedroom set with four bedposts that my mother bought for me. I would stand on my bed and use the bedpost as my microphone stand and microphone while my big brother would be my audience. How amazing it is to look back and see how the Lord starts working in our lives at such a very young age."
In August of 2005, the two finally met - and it started with that glance across a lawn while Christopher was playing drums for a group at a Gospel music event. He knew immediately that there was something special about this girl.
After weeks of courting, they began their relationship. They knew God's plan was for them to be together as husband and wife as well as ministers of the Gospel. Both having the love of Jesus Christ in their hearts, as well as a passion for Gospel music, they began their journey together. The two were married on January 5, 2006.
There have been a lot of great moments thus far, including the production of our first CD and the opportunity to meet other great gospel artists, promoters and evangelists," mentioned Christina. "But the proudest moment for us is when we see souls saved and hearts uplifted. What a feeling of gratefulness to the Lord for the opportunity and the gift that he has given us that we can be a part of this here on earth.
While singing with a traditional style, Christopher & Christina have added an energetic and soulful sound to their music.
"We have received a great response from the people and believe that God has much more in store for our ministry," said Christopher. "We want to take our music ministry to a higher level and a bigger stage. He never promised that the cross would not get heavy, but he promised us that He would never leave us nor forsake us. He also promised us that help would always come in time. We know this is so true and we also know that with God, all things are possible."
Because of a chance meeting one day, two paths became one - and now God is displaying His mighty works through the ministry of Christopher & Christina.
