I'm an Electronics Tech in the Navy, currently on Shore duty at Naval Station Norfolk. I served aboard the USS Enterprise from 1993-1998, and the USS Ronald Reagan from 2002-2005. In between, I was at Dam Neck where I taught Computer maintenance and networking.
Obviously, I play guitar. But it goes a whole lot deeper than that. I've been into music for as long as I can remember. I learned to play bass, drums and keyboards at a young age. I also get pretty heavily into the inner workings of my gear by opening stuff up and trying to figure out ways to improve it. I've even been known to try my hand a building stuff. Believe it or not, some of the stuff I build actually works!
On HRCMU, which is an internet radio station, I do a section of the show called "The 30 second song - Worship for the attention deficient". Usually, the songs are of the speedpunk variety, but to me it's just major fun to try to pack some sort of relevant Godly message of worship or praise into 30 seconds.
