2009 represents 27 years of music ministry for HEARTS OF FAITH ... having begun singing in 1982 with their parents. In 2001, Mom and Dad retired from the singing stage and transferred the ministry to their daughters.
In 2002, "Continuing the Legacy," was the duet's debut release. From that project, the group realized its first Top 100 and Top 40 charting songs!!
In 2004, a second project ~ "LIVE In Concert" ~ was recorded in Cincinnati, Ohio. Donna and Brenda were thrilled to have their children record a song with them on this project.
In 2006, their third project ~ "Mercy, Grace, Love", was released with songs from some of SG industry's most prolific songwriters: Greg Day; John Darin Rowsey; Rebecca Peck; Gerald Crabb. Several songs have been released from this project, and radio is quickly catching hold of these sisters' tight harmonies.
Accolades from the industry are also being realized. In 2004 & 2005, HEARTS OF FAITH was nominated in the Top 10 for "Duet of the Year" in the Diamond Awards. In 2006, 2007 & 2008, they achieved Top 5 status for "Duet". In 2008, HEARTS OF FAITH also achieved Top 5 status for the "Sunrise" Award, which they won at the 2008 Diamond Awards on September 12.
In 2006, HEARTS OF FAITH became a member of the COUNTRY GOSPEL MUSIC ASSOCIATION out of Branson, MO. In 2006, 2007 and 2008, they were voted as the "A capella" and "Duo" Artist of the Year for the CGMA. In 2006, 2007 and 2008, they also were selected to sing at the National Quartet Convention's "Regional Artist Showcase." And, in 2007, they were nominated in the Top 10 for "Favorite Duet" in the Southern Gospel Music Awards.
As you can see, God is truly blessing these sisters and they thank Him for the opportunity to do what they love, for the one whom they love!
