The Living Waters Trio ministry began in 1998 when five teenagers decided to step out and do a work for the Lord. They sacrificed all of the normal teenage activities to travel and sing gospel music. Starting out they sang and played southern gospel. This consisted of mostly church hymns played with an electric bass and piano. It was at this time that Tabitha and Kelly wrote their first song entitled Rise Up My Children. The Lord blessed them to be able to convey this amazing message through song. Due to an overwhelming response it was released nationwide.

The ministry of The Living Waters Trio has grown by leaps and bounds in just a short time. What began as a group of young teenagers traveling to local churches for revivals and singing events has now become a nation wide ministry. Their style of music has changed over the years and they are now considered to have a contemporary "Mountain Gospel" sound. This came about because their music sounds like its between a contemporary bluegrass and southern gospel style. The Living Waters Trio ministry now expands into churches, outdoor venues, and various facilities all across the country.

Throughout the growing process of the group's ministry, their goal has remained the same. To see as many souls come to the Lord as possible before time runs out. Each individual member has a unique identity and talent that God has given them. As a result of their faithfulness, the blessings of God are clearly evident in their ministry. Each soul that is saved makes every mile they travel worth every sacrifice they have made.
