I am a worshiper first and foremost. Worship is a lifestyle; something, not only what we do, but who we are. It is my privilege to also be a worship leader.

My music ministry's main focus is Women's Ministry. I feel right in the middle of God's will when I am leading a group of women in worship. To be doing what God has created and called you to do is extremely fulfilling.

I am also a songwriter; a very vulnerable place to be, I've found. But I am excited to be able used by God in this way, so I'm determined to write in a very real, transparent way. When I began writing, I felt so exposed to the world because some of the songs were birthed out of pain and sorrow, sin and repentance, and the anguish of the soul. But I soon came to realize that even if people had different life experiences and circumstances that I have had, everyone has had to deal with the gamut of emotions that life has thrown at them. The Lord showed me that that is why writing these songs for others to hear is important - it is an avenue of identification, expression, as well as healing. Many of the songs on my first album are songs of praise - a direct result of what God can do when we run to Him, even in the hard times! You may recognize the voice of the Psalmist, David, in some of them. That's because I can so identify with the man who loved God with all his heart, yet doubted himself and his faith from time to time. In the end, David places himself in the hands of the only One who could save and heal him - Father God.

Personally, I have experienced the unconditional grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. I have seen the work of His hands in the midst of unbearable circumstances. I have been rescued from sin and self destruction. He brushed off the mire that I had been wallowing in and set me on solid ground. I am undone by His amazing, abundant love. It is my privilege to be a vessel in which to impart the Good News: that God sent His Son, Jesus, to free us from sin, to make us worthy before God, to live eternally with Him, and to live an abundant life in the midst of a fallen world. He stands ready with arms outstretched for all that would fall at His feet. This is the passion of my heart.

I also am a wife and mother of three - which is my first calling!
