I've traveled a long way on this road called music. Sometimes, I had a clear direction. It was a point A to point B thing. Sometimes, I wandered aimlessly towards nothing; traveled what seemed like a lifetime in vain towards anything. Anything always came, and it always left. I put my trust in dreamers, in users, and in people that cared for themselves above all else. I tried not to be that person, and in trying became them. I poured my heart out to people not for the sake of pouring, but in hopes they would like it.

As if that was all I was worth.

Now, with a purpose, I write. I sing. I play. What's the point people ask. I tell them like I am telling you. The point is that I am sharing this with people. You can choose it, or you can pass it by. If you pass it by, so be it. Enjoy the breeze. Choosing to listen to this music is choosing to travel on this journey with me. It will change. It will sound new. It will sound re-visited. It will sound like Rob Blackwell. This is my journey.
