Todd (GODINTODD) Smith was born in California on April 27th, 1969. His father was attending The University of California Berkley School of Engineering. After graduating with a PHD in Civil Engineering, the family moved to Florida in November of 69'. For the next fifteen years, life was good. Both of Todd's parents were strong Christians. They had Todd, and his brother Tim, in church every time the doors were open.
But at the age of fifteen, Todd began to stray away from the things of God. He remembers telling God that he would be back. After a few years of drinking, smoking weed, and fornicating with women, Todd began to sell drugs as a means to support his habit. Proverbs 28:10 says, "Whoever causes the upright to go astray in an evil way, he himself will fall into his own pit; but the blameless will inherit good". Needless to say, Todd fell into his own pit. He became highly addicted to crack cocaine for several years. He nearly lost his life many times from overdoses, seizures, robberies, etc...
But God...But God had a different plan for his life. In 2005, Todd came to Texas to a place called Christian Farms Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation. Through faith in Jesus Christ and the prayers of many (especially his mom), Todd has been set free and now serves the Lord full time through song and testimony. He always knew he had been called by the Lord to preach the message of Jesus Christ. He believes the Lord allowed him to go through those times so that he would be able to help others out of similar darkness and to help keep kids from making the same mistakes that he did.
Today, Todd lives in Temple, Texas and is married to his beautiful wife Amy. They have two kids (Blake and Tona). Todd's wife Amy also has a powerful testimony and is unashamed to tell how Jesus Christ freed her from crime, abuse, and addiction. The Smiths would love the opportunity to come to your town and tell you of a Risen Savior called Jesus Christ who specializes in the restoration of lives. May God richly bless all who visit this site.
