About Mirtika
I'm married (happily) and a longtime resident of the Miami area (happier before the hurricane insanity of recent years) and I love Jesus, my husband, my family, and anything literary. I collect books, thousands. I edit at Dragons, Knights & Angels, a magazine of Christian Science Fiction and Fantasy. I've been published at The Sword Review (www.theswordreview.com), and DKA (www.dkamagazine.com), and I won the 2006 ACFW GENESIS CONTEST'S SF/F category. I also write poetry, and one of my poems, "Into the Heart," is nominated for the Rhysling Award. My dream is to publish in novel-length Christian speculative fiction, even though that's a fragile genre in Christian publishing, and to find a way daily to encourage other Christian writers and poets. I live in hope and live to give hope.
