General Interests
God has allowed me many blessings in my life. From my salvation at 8 years old. I grew up in a Christian home. Dad was on the road a lot with the Christian Troubadours and I didn't get to spend much time with him. It was a great joy for me to spend my summers on the road with him and after graduating school, I went full-time. While with the Christian Troubadours, I was able to visit many cities across the United States and also Mexico and Canada. One of my greatest thrills was singing on the stage of the Grand Ol Opry and also being in Concerts with many of the late greats such as The Happy Goodmans. I have recorded only one CD and honestly can't stand to listen to it. LOL Maybe someday I will record with someone who can make me sound really good! LOL I have written a book recently about my Mom, who passed away with cancer. She was a delightfully funny little lady who had a deep spiritual side as well. This book tried to cover all aspects of that life as a legacy to her future generatons. I have a wonderful husband and 3 awesome sons. I now work for Lifeway Christian Store in Hendersonville, Tennessee. I attend Family Worship Center where I am pianist and soloist. It's old-time worship and praise and I love it!
Music
I love all kinds of music, but my blood runs Southern Gospel. I pretty much love them all! Put me in a room with pickers and grinners and I could spend all day! I don't claim to be professional, but I manage to play a little piano, a little bass and squeak out a few melodies.
Books
Working in a book store affords me many opportunities to read a good book. My most recent readings were a couple of fiction by Karen Kingsbury. The Shack by Young and I am in the process of Heaven by Alcorn. I think my next one is going to be What On Earth Is Going On by Jeremiah, my husband said it was awesome.
Movies/TV
I am not into TV much, or movies either for that matter, but I do have a few favorites that I watch. I am a sap for a tear jerker movie. I like true stories and I like to watch things that make me laugh.

About Me
I was born the daughter of a legend,Wayne Walters of the Christian Troubadours. It was his love for music and his Lord, that I inherited. From singing in front of a mirror with a hairbrush, to eventually, standing in front of hundreds with my dad, brother and sister by my side at the Grand Ol Opry. My heart remains steadfast in a calling to serve God. Whether I am working at my job at LifeWay, playing the piano for my church, or being a wife and mother, I know God has placed me where I am. I want to always serve Him to the very best of my ability.
