About The Perrys
In a day and time when "traditional" may not be viewed as the "in thing," the Perrys are a breath of fresh air. In fact, their desire to always keep close to the traditions upon which Southern Gospel Music is based is exactly why the Perrys are considered one of the all-time great groups of this uplifting music form. The Perrys have been singing Southern Gospel Music for 35 years- a remarkable feat in any musical genre.

From their beginnings gathered around a family piano in December of 1970, the Perrys have watched in amazement as God grew their ministry to one of national stature. All along the way, solid traditional Southern Gospel Music has formed the foundation of every song the group has chosen to sing and the audiences loves it.

With their newest Daywind Records release, "Come Thirsty" the Perrys have produced yet another stellar recording.

The results have been astonishing. The Number One goal of the Perrys is to present the message of Jesus Christ in a manner that all ages can understand. To do this, they've chosen traditional Southern Gospel Music as their vehicle and along this musical path, they've seen countless souls saved, untold numbers of lives changed and innumerable commitments made to the Lord. These results are a tradition the Perrys love to see continued at every bus stop.

Every mile has been worth the journey. It takes a special person to dedicate themselves to traveling for the Lord, especially when that traveling entails over 250 dates each year. In the case of the Perrys, there are six special persons. Anchoring the group are Tracy and Libbi Stuffle. This husband and wife duo not only manage the group, but hold down vocal responsibilities as well. Tracy, considered one of the best by his peers and fans alike, sings bass for the group, as well as emcees most of their program. Libbi, the only remaining original member of the group, sings alto and has long been recognized as one of the most of the consistent and talented vocalists in Southern Gospel Music world. With the addition of Nick Trammell, the group has hired a wonderful asset to the group and the fans are loving him. Joseph Habedank sings lead, and is humbly making an everlasting mark in Southern Gospel Music. Matthew Holt, the Perry's pianist, is making friends all over the country. He provides the musical foundation as the Perrys move through church services and concert events. One more important member of the Perry's team is Jared Stuffle, the son of Tracy and Libbi. Their winning personalities are important to the Perry's Success as it's a tradition of being down-to-earth that endears every member of the Perrys to all they meet.

Fans and the Southern Gospel Music industry showed the Perrys their love and support for their hard work by honoring them Singing News Fan Awards 2004, 2005, and 2006 Mixed Quartet Of The Year. Libbi Perry Stuffle was voted Singing News Fan Awards 2005 Female Vocalist and received the Alto Singer Of The Year for 2005 and 2006. Also, the Perrys were honored by the Harmony Honors Awards with 2004 Song Of The Year, "I Wish I Could Have Been There," and 2004 Album Of The Year, "This Is The Day."

Southern Gospel Music has seen several mixed groups since it's beginning in 1910. Traditional names like Speer, Goodman, LeFevre, Hinson and Weatherford are predominant in the music's history. But adding their very own chapter to that legendary book of tradition is a group from Morristown, TN - a group called The Perrys.
