Jesus! He was the best story teller ever. Why, at one point he enthralled 5,000 people with his stories and words of wisdom.

I want to be as much like him as possible.

General Interests
reading, writing, walking, daydreaming, random acts of kindness

Writing is my greatest passion. Ever since the 6th grade, when I wrote my first story and listened as my teacher read it to the class, I knew that my life goal was to be a writer.

Since then, I've worked in restaurants, stores, as a hair stylist, daycare teacher, earned a bachelors degree in counseling, and worked with struggling kids in an elementary school.

I still, most passionately want to be a writer and enjoy dreaming up both crazy and not-so-crazy stoies to share with others.

About Jackie Castle
I'm a married Mom of two who lives in Texas where the sun shines hot and dogs pant alot. I love telling tall tales about different kinds of folks, creatures and even objects.

I work with kids in all grade levels in an elementary school. I love storytelling, and sometimes will put on one of my crazy hats, grab ol' Hank the cow and see what story pops into my head. (See? I put all them stories in my many hats for safe keeping.)

This Saturday, November 15th, a Rally is scheduled to take place in front of the Dallas City Hall. The gathering is a grass root effort that will also take place in many major cities across all 50 states at the same time. The topic of protest? Califo... (login or sign up to read more)

Striving   11/02/2008 - 7:27 AM
I lift up my eyes to the hills-- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip-- He who watches over you will not slumber Psalm 121: 1-3 In the midst of storms, trial... (login or sign up to read more)

Magic Makers   10/26/2008 - 6:50 PM
There's magic dwelling deep down inside each of us. Not the potions and incantations kind of Halloween magic. Not the fairytale or fable kind of magic either. No, what I'm talking about is that extraordinariness hidden within a person that screams an... (login or sign up to read more)

Jason said in an interview, that blood sons and daughters can be disinherited and cast away. But adoption...this is a legal, binding agreement that cannot be broken and it lasts forever. So when Paul writes in Romans 8:15, "For ye have not re... (login or sign up to read more)

A Collective Sigh   7/17/2008 - 5:46 PM
Cicadas chatter in the tree boughs. The hum of a weed eater, the smoky smell of meat on the barbeque wafts through the warm air. I love taking walks in the late afternoon. That block of time, just before the sun beds for the night in a wonderful disp... (login or sign up to read more)
