Hello. I have finally decided to set up my shoutlife account. This is my way to stay in better touch with my christian friends.
I am the mother of 2 teenagers. My daughter Autumn is 15 and my son Austin is 13. They are a challenge, but God is giving me peace about it. Daily!! My husband, John, has a great job and I am fortunate to stay at home with the kids. God has blest me so I have been able to work at my children's private school while they were in elementary and middle school. I have my teacher's aide license and would like to get involved in their public school on a permanent basis. Currently I substitute as needed at area schools. I love having my summers off!!
I love music. I lead congregational singing, adult choir at church and sing solos and specials with my family.
I am on the planning committee for my churches ladies group called the Busy Bees. I am also on the committee for the area church camp (Butler Springs) as publicity chair. We host 2 retreats each year at the camp. Our next one is coming up in September.
My husband and I love to travel. (Me more than him) This summer we took our kids to Atlantis in the Bahamas and John and I went to Cancun for a couple days break. (see my pictures). I really enjoy planning out our vacations online. I've thought about going into the travel business, but that may be a dream for the future.
I love to read Christian Romances. Lori Wick is my favorite.
