AS I WAS LISTENING THIS MORNING ON MY WAY OUT TO WORK, GOOD MORNING AMERICA HAD A GROUP OF 4 MEN ON FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRYS SINGING AMAZING GRACE. THEY ARE CALLED IIDIVO...ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL...

I MARVELED AT THE POWER OF THEIR VOICES, THE SENSE OF UNITY I FELT, THE PERFECT HARMONY AND RANGE OF EACH MAN'S VOICE, THE BAGPIPES AND THE OUTSTANDING VOICE AT THE END. MY HUSBAND AND I STOOD IN AWE AS WE LISTENED TO ONE OF THE GREATEST HYMNS EVER WRITTEN.

AMAZING GRACE! and IT IS AMAZING. GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE.......

GRACE......SO FREE, SO FULL OF MERCY.........

I DON'T THINK WE CAN REALLY GRASP JUST HOW POWERFUL, HOW FAR REACHING, HOW AMAZING IS THAT WORD!!! I THINK ITS ACTUAL MEANING IS SO FAR ABOVE US THAT WE CAN'T REALLY EVEN, IN OUR LITTLE FINITE MINDS, UNDERSTAND JUST WHAT OUR FATHER DID FOR US. WE WERE LOST, DOOMED TO AN ETERNAL HELL, GOING OUR OWN WAY, NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGING HIM, LIVING OUR OWN LIVES........

BUT GOD....... IN HIS "AMAZING" LOVE, CALLED US, BID US COME AND DINE AND HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM. HE LOVED US WHILE WE WERE STILL UNLOVELY..BOUND BY SIN, BUT YET, HE REACHED INTO OUR HEARTS DRAWING US TO HIMSELF......THAT IS AMAZING ENOUGH...... HUMAN LOVE, PHILEO LOVE, SAYS, I WILL LOVE YOU IF YOU LOVE ME, AND AS LONG AS YOU LOVE ME....

BUT GOD SAYS, I LOVE YOU UNCONDITIONALLY.... AND WITH ARMS OPEN WIDE, HE INVITES US IN.........READY TO FORGIVE, READY TO HEAL OUR HURTS, READY TO BLESS US BEYOND OUR WILDEST DREAMS......

AND IN THAT GREAT LOVE, WE FIND FORGIVENESS, HEALING, RESTORATION, PARDON, FULFILLMENT...HIS LOVE IS SO AMAZING, HE GIVES US FREE CHOICE STILL!! TO CHOOSE TO RECIEVE HIS GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE. HE LONGS TO WRAP HIS ARMS OF LOVE AROUND US.....AMAZING ISN'T IT?

GOT UP THIS A.M. WITH PART OF A SONG IN MY SPIRIT. HAVEN'T SANG IT IN A WHILE, SO I ALWAYS KNOW WHEN I AWAKE WITH A SONG OR THOUGHTS, THEY ARE CONVEYING WHAT MY SPIRIT MAN IS AWAKENED TOO....DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? :)

Listening and watching all the questions about the past week, the election, the will of God, the will of man, the insecurity, the fears, the future, the past, the present.....all the "things" going on in our NOW, my mind went back to 1967 during the 6 day war in Israel. My mind was so troubled, I had so much fear, I was so confused....and it all led me to the cross!

I hear the fear everyday, the questions everyday at the bookstore about what man pre-supposes, the anxiety, etc....and I remember back to the place I was.

It wasn't a good place...and I am so thankful for the place I have found IN HIM.... a place of quiet rest, a friend that sticks closer than a brother, a peace that passes all understanding, a joy that is great strength to me, and a hope that transcends all my earthly desires, a solid and firm foundation...It's IN HIM..... for by myself, aside from Him, fear would reign once again in my life, unrest would rule me........ All the negatives of this world would decide my days and rule my nights....

But IN HIM......HE IS MY PEACE! HE IS IN CHARGE OF THE 'WHATEVER HE WANTS TO DO IN MY LIFE" AND HE IS ON THE THRONE.....

SONGS???? THEY PLAY A BIG PART IN HOW HE SPEAKS TO ME......AND I AM STILL LEARNING TO LISTEN AFTER ALL THESE YEARS....

THANK YOU LORD FOR BRINGING ME OUT OF THE WILDERNESS AND PLACING MY FEET UPON A ROCK, ESTABLISHING MY GOING AND MY COMING..........AND

SEEMS LIKE THIS PAST WEEK WE HAVE BEEN CAUGHT UP IN A WHIRLWIND OF EMOTIONS, QUESTIONS, TENSION, FEARS, UNREST, WONDERINGS. I AM OFF TRACK A LITTLE.....
ARE WE GOING TO FAST TO REMEMBER THAT GOD........

GOD IS IN CONTROL! I NEED TO KEEP MY EYES FOCUSED ON HIM. HE IS IN CHARGE. HE REMOVES, HE REPLACES, HE REBUILDS, HE KNOWS WHERE WE ARE AND HIS PLAN FOR OUR LIVES HAS NOT GONE OUT OF CONTROL......HALLELUAH!

YESTERDAY I HAD SHARED THAT WHILE DRIVING TO WORK, PRAYING ABOUT THE DAY, ABOUT THE AGENDA "HE" HAD FOR ME THAT DAY, INSIDE MY SPIRIT I HEARD THESE WORDS,

"I AM THE GOD THAT CHANGES NOT, I AM THE SAME YESTERDAY AND FOREVER, I NEITHER SLEEP NOR SLUMBER. IS NOT ARM SO SHORT THAT IT CANNOT SAVE? REMEMBER THAT MY WAYS ARE NOT YOUR WAYS, NEITHER MY THOUGHTS YOUR THOUGHTS, BUT I AM THAT I AM...... ALL IS WELL... AND MY PLAN FOR YOU CONTINUES ON... I AM ON THE THRONE...I REIGN!"

IMMEDIATELY AFTER, I REACHED OVER, TURNED UP THE RADIO AND THE SONG "HE REIGNS" WAS PLAYING... YOU'VE HEARD IT.....

SO, LET'S KEEP OUR EYES FIXED ON JESUS WHO IS SEATED ON THE THRONE, NOT WRINGING HIS HANDS, BUT FIRMLY IN CHARGE, AND HE IS PRAYING FOR YOU AND ME THAT WHAT???? OUR FAITH FAIL NOT!!

AND LET'S KEEP OUR THOUGHTS FIXED ON HIM FOR HE IS THE AUTHOR, THE FINISHER, THE CREATOR, THE I AM, THE ONE AND THE ONLY. NOTHING GETS BY HIM.... HE HAS A PLAN.... SO, AS CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH, LET'S BE UNITED AS HIS BODY, FOR UNITY BRINGS POWER, WE ARE HIS CHURCH. WE ARE FIGURED IN TO THESE DAYS! HE REIGNS!!

Climb aboard Thomas as we travel around and pick up our friends on here on shoutlife.

Halleluah! It seems like forever that I have been able to sit down and just pour out my heart.

We have been on the road all day long. My mother-in-laws brother, who was 95 years old, passed away this week, so we took her to the funeral about 2 1/2 hrs. away. Right now, hubby is asleep on the sofa, Fox news is on and I just couldn't take anymore of the heated discussions, so I retreated to a place of peace!!! ha...

You know, just seeing everybody today brought home the truth of 'life is a vapor'. Some of the families we havent seen for a while and some of the kids, are not kids anymore. They are grown with grandkids. My, my!! I guess that means I am getting older too! :)

My husbands mom has a sister still living that is 99, one 97, one brother that is 96, another brother, 87 and mom, who will be 93 this coming January. They have lost a sister and 2 brothers..... I would say, they have longevity and are blessed! Most of them are in good health. Even mom doesn't have to take any medicine of any kind, still drives her car, takes care of a large home, works in her yard, very active in her church. Plus, when I call and ask if she'd like to go shopping, her reply, "sure, come get me!!!"

I just hope when I get her age, that I have as much vigor and vitality that she does. She is blessed and a blessing. G.T. is what the kids nicknamed her (Grandma Todd)

Time??? It goes to fast, so make each day count, redeem it for the Lord, use it wisely, make a memory, laugh a lot and praise even more!! Make good times with your family.... I thought one thing that was shared at the funeral was so sweet and I got a little teary eyed about it. It was Bill's last wish to have communion with his son, his grandson and his great grandson. So the pastor saw that it took place. Four generations and on the way out, He wanted to break bread with his kids.... How wonderful is that? What a memory for those boys......We will miss him a lot..

another "cute" thing mom said to probably lighten the separation of a loved one was when she walked up to the casket, looked down at this brother that she shared many times and holds many memories close to her,,,she outs with this remark....."Look at him, he doesn't have any wrinkles?!!!! He lookes so good, not a wrinkle one, and just look at me, my face is full of them~ Makes me so mad~! and then she just smiled........

A large family, a close family, a loving family......It was a sweet day...what a day~ I think I may be just a little tired too. :)

GOOD MORNING!!!! GOOD MORNING! HOW GOOD IT IS TO SEE THE SUN SHINING, THE COFFEE BREWING AND GOD'S PEACE THAT PASSES UNDERSTANDING FLOODING YOUR HEART.....IN THE MIDST OF IT ALL, OUR GOD REIGNS!!!

LOVED THIS STORY, AND YOU ARE PROBABLY WONDERING WHAT IN THE WORLD DOES THAT CHICKEN PIC HAVE IN COMMON WITH ME??? WELL TAKE A LISTEN: THIS IS A REAPING OF MY MORNING DEVOTION...

Hard work mean nothing to a hen. Regardless of what the world says about the economy, the rise in cost of eggs, the fluctuations in the commodities market, this little hen keeps on digging worms and laying eggs!!!
1.IF THE GROUND IS HARD, SHE SCRATCHES HARDER.
2.IF ITS DRY, SHE JUST DIGS DEEPER...
3.IF IT'S WET, SHE DIGS WHERE IT IS DRY. (oh man, there is a sermon!)
4.IF SHE STRIKES A ROCK, SHE DIGS AROUND IT
5.IF SHE GETS A FEW MORE HOURS OF DAYLIGHT IN THE BARNYARD, SHE
DIGS A FEW MORE HOURS..

Have you ever seen a pessimistic hen? Have you ever seen a hen cackle in disgust at the prospect of her job?
Did you ever hear one cluck because the work was hard, the conditions were poor, and some of her eggs were taken from her before they hatched?
No...Hens save their breath for digging and their cackles for the eggs that are hatched! SMART HEN!!!

I think of the old hymn I heard as a little girl,
"work for the night is coming, when man works no more"

We have work to do. Sometimes we may feel like we are getting nowhere, all our words are falling on deaf ears. Let someone else do this job of telling, I am just going to sit back and watch. I will just be an spectator and not a participator.... Well, everyone is telling me time has run out, it's no use, you can never get the job done. Things are too bad. Too many times, we have "ears to hear" and "eyes to focus" on the doom and not the doing!! YES, it is bad, times are hard, but we keep on keeping on with the GOOD NEWS.. There are eggs to be hatched ..(souls to be saved!!!) That's our mission, that's our call.

"Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master when he comes will find so doing. Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions." Matt. 24:45

Another: "don't be weary in well doing, for in due season you shall reap a harvest...IF WE FAINT NOT"..... Galatians 6:9 (OR YET SAID, STOP DIGGING!!)

You know, it may look bad, you may have days that you feel were wasted. There may not be anybody you encounter that you feel like "heard" what you were saying. The ground (HEARTS) may be hard. Just keep on digging. And if the ground is good and wet, hearts are tender, ears are open, you have hit good ground, FOR SURE KEEP ON DIGGING. If there are things that turn you off, stop you in your tracks... you may have hit a rock in the road, circumstances in your life, family, church, etc, and the immediate feeling is just quit...DON'T... JUST GO AROUND IT. CALL UPON THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES, SPEAK TO THE MT. BE MOVED.........JUST KEEP DIGGING!!!! Before long, you have reached fertile soil again. The harvest is worth it.....

That old hen sits on that nest and when she is through laying her eggs, she jumps up, ruffles her feathers and lets out a big cackle!!!
She looks back and sees beautiful white eggs gleaming in the sun. WELL DONE SHE HEARS!!!

Hey, one day, after this is all over, we are at our final destination, the call has been given, the multitudes are filing in, you may think you didn't get a whole lot accomplished, you didn't say enough, you may have felt less in the kingdom.. Sweet friend..I promise you, only heaven knows yours works and your labors and it will be revealed all the digging you did...You may have sowed in tears but there is a harvest that awaits you. The ground may be hard, times may be bad, but the secret is...once you start...keep on scratching!!!! BLESSINGS, TISHA

He is great, He is big, He is awesome. He is, He is...but you know what???....

He is concerned about the littliest detail in our lives. We belong to Him and if it's important to us, it's important to Him!

Thank you Father for being all-powerful, all-capable, all-knowing, omnipotent. And there is nothing, absolutely nothing too big for you to handle in our lives. Thank you that no problem, big or small is beyond your love, concern and ability....

As Max says, "He removes the boulders from our path and the pebbles from our shoes...." Now how awesome is that???? He can bring the low places up and the high places down.....He can steady our walk and lay out a path before us!!!

That is a loving Father...I will, because I choose, to cast all my worries and fears and anxieties over to Him......And our universe?? Well, it may seem big to us, but it sets in the palm of His hand!!!

GOT UP THIS MORNING THINKING ABOUT THE PLACE WE ARE IN HISTORY AT THIS DEFINING HOUR. WENT AND GOT MY COFEE AND CAME INTO THE OFFICE TO READ MORNING NEWS AND EMAIL.

THOUGHT THIS ONE SO POWERFUL IT NEEDED TO BE READ OVER AND OVER AGAIN....IT TOOK ME BACK TO TIMES IN MY LIFE, AND EVEN MANY TIMES NOW, WHERE I WAS BELIEVING HARD FOR GOD TO DO SOMETHING IN MY LIFE. CHANGE A CIRCUMSTANCE, BREAK THRU IN A HARD SITUATION, CHANGE AN OBVIOUS OUTCOME THAT WOULD BE BAD, TURN IT FOR GOOD.. STANDING OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR MY FAMILY, INTERCEDING FOR THEM DAILY EVEN WHEN I COULD SEE NO CHANGE, NO ANSWER. BUT EVERYDAY, EVERY MOMENT REMIND HIM OF HIS WORD.....YOU KNOW HE SAYS TO PUT HIM IN REMEMBRANCE OF HIS WORD...SO I WOULD!!! I WOULD KNOCK ON HEAVENS DOORS CONTINUALLY WITH THE SAME REQUESTS. EVEN THOUGH I MAY NOT IN AN INSTANCE SEE THE RESULTS, MY FAITH WOULD GROW STRONGER BECAUSE I KNEW HE TOLD ME TO ASK!!!! *AND THE KEY TO ASKING IS ASKING IN "FAITH" BELEIVING.... AND JUST LIKE A WOMAN, I WOULD, OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN... (THAT'S A REMARK FROM MY HUSBAND!!)

I BELIEVE AMERICA AS WE KNOW IT, HANGS IN THE BALANCE. THIS ELECTION IS SO CRITICALLY IMPORTANT. WE, AS GOD'S PEOPLE HAVE TO BE BEFORE THE LORD CONTINUALLY, ASKING HIM TO FORGIVE OUR SINS, REPENTING, TURNING AWAY FROM THE LUKEWARMNESS, SEEKING HIS FACE AS WE ARE KNEELING BEFORE HIM, GETTING DOWN AND GETTING SERIOUS ABOUT STANDING BOLDLY FOR GODLY TRUTHS IN OUR DAY...

PLEASE GIVE US A WINDOW LORD TO DO IT "RIGHT".... NOT STAND HALF WAY, BUT BE OUT THERE WITH HOLY BOLDNESS FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS SAKE, FOR OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDRENS FUTURE, (IF HE DOESN'T COME SOON)

THE TRYING OF MY FAITH??? YEP, IT MAKES ME STRONGER..... THE HARDER THE BATTLE? YEP, IT MAKES ME A STRONGER WARRIOR!!! THE UNANSWERED QUESTIONS? IT DRIVES ME TO HIS WORD. THE TEARS THAT HE HAS BOTTLED IN HEAVEN? IT MOVES "ME" OUT OF THE WAY, REFRESHES ME ANEW AND CAUSES ME TO ARISE AND GO BACK INTO BATTLE......I WILL HOLD FAST TO MY FAITH WHEN THE PRESENT DOESN'T LOOK SO GOOD, I WILL HOLD FAST TO MY FAITH, KNOWING THAT HE THAT HAS BOUGHT MY LIFE WITH THE PRICE OF THE SHED BLOOD OF JESUS. HE SEES, HE HEARS, AND HE KNOWS!!! I WILL HOLD FAST TO THAT WHICH IS TRUE AND GOOD.

[Jesus] told the disciples a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up). He said, 'In a certain city there was a judge who neither reverenced and feared God nor respected or considered man. And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, "Protect and defend and give me justice against my adversary."

'And for a time he would not; but later he said to himself, "Though I have neither reverence or fear for God nor respect or consideration for man, yet because this widow continues to bother me, I will defend and protect and avenge her, lest she give me intolerable annoyance and wear me out by her continual coming or at the last she come and rail on me or assault me or strangle me."'

"Then the Lord said, 'Listen to what the unjust judge says! And will not [our just] God defend and protect and avenge His elect (His chosen ones), who cry to Him day and night? Will He defer them and delay help on their behalf? I tell you, He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [persistence in] faith on the earth?'"

After reading these verses I heard the Spirit say, "There is an open door before My people in this hour, and if they will come before Me day and night, I will execute justice on their behalf, for I am a Righteous Judge who is full of grace and mercy."

This is a promise from our Righteous Judge. He will defend, protect and avenge His chosen ones "speedily." Though He will not defer us or delay help for us, still we need to realize that there has been a strengthening of our faith that has been happening and so we live in the divine tension of this promise of God and the strengthening of our faith - which often happens under pressure!

"Rejoice and exult in hope; be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation; be constant in prayer." (Amplified Version) Romans 12:12

"The way over the threshold of this door that is standing open before you is in the posture of continual prayer, worship, hope and steadfastness even in the midst of suffering."

Then I heard the words, "Court is in session!" I could see God take the judge's stand, ready to hear our cases. He was in His royal robes and had His gavel in His right hand, which had the word "JUSTICE" written upon it. In that moment, I realized that God was there to "hear our cases" and avenge justice.

Prayer has always been the key to seeing the hand of God move, but I submit that during the next three months prayer is especially key to releasing the things that God is wanting to release, and the "prayer of agreement" is even more powerful (with families, with congregations, with all who will gather). God is seated at the mercy seat ready to hear and answer the prayers of His people for individuals, families and nations.

"...if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14
