Too busy to watch much of anything. I'd rather read a book.

Whisper their name in prayer

Prayer are the stairs
We must climb every day.
If we would reach God.
There is no other way.
FOr we learn to know God
When we meet him in prayer
And ask Him to lighten
Our burden of care
So start in the morning
And through the way's sleep.
Climb ever upward
Til your eyes close in sleep
For prayers are the stairs
That lead to the lord.
And to meet him in prayer
Is the climber's reward.
poem by Helen steiner Rice

Teach us How to truly love

Teach us how to truly live,
Ask us not our race or creed,
Just take us in our hour of need,
And let us know You love us, too
And That we are A Part Of You....
And someday may man realize
That all the earth, The seas and skies
Belong to God who made us all,
The rich, the poor, the great, the small,
And in the father's holy sight
No man is yellow, black or white,
And Peace On Earth cannot be found
Until we Meet on Common Ground
And every man becomes a Brother
Who worships God and loves each other.

What's new, Michelle?

I've just returned from Alaska--SO strange to be able to read a book by the light of the midnight sun!

Nothing is really new. I'm back to work and just trying to catch up with things, and getting a bit of writing done here and there.

How 'bout you?

Kandie on 6/23/09 - 10:41 AM
I'll definitely check out your online mag + youth fiction for nieces. Just stopping through to wish you a great week! Continued blessings in all you do!
