The ministry began in Oct. of 1984 as a weekly radio show to bring worship and prayer to those in need. It was a tiny 1000 watt AM station in Plano, TX. That little radio show from the back room of an old two story home, led to the launching of a sonogram equipped pregnancy resource center in April of 1985. The 2000 square foot donated facility saved 1,300 babies from the abortion center in the same complex. Working with the hundreds of clients who accidentally (divinely) visited our center, we early saw the need for recovery support for those deeply hurt over their abortion. This awareness led to syndication of a national radio show that was distributed to 80 markets called "Abortion Awareness in Action." Then, West 57th Street TV show called our center a "Fake Bogus Clinic." This was an attack from hell. Seventeen supporting churches in Dallas TX dropped our support instantly. We lost our space, our sonogram, our volunteers. We were left penniless. On the heals of this attack, PTL Television had this pastor on the 15th anniversary of abortion (Roe V Wade) show. That exposure allowed us to reach 18,000 women who had experienced abortion. Their constant phone calls led to the writing of Healing the Hurts of Abortion and the establishment of small group meetings to overcome the aftermath of abortion.
Through the years, Healing the Hurts of Abortion was expanded and amplified into its current identity now called FREE ME TO LIVE. (

During the years 1989-1997, the ministry trained and coached over 2,500 center directors and staff/volunteers how to help the after abortion victim. Many of the alumni of our recovery are today leaders of major outreaches throughout the world. Several today are on the boards or lead as directors of pregnancy resource centers. Others are the leaders of after abortion recovery in major outreaches like
Watermark Church or
June Hunt's Hope for the Heart.
Beginning with a small five page website in 1994, today the ministry outreach spans 32 major websites along with many social media footprints and three weekly video webcasts. Our audience today? Over 3 million souls in 120 nations.
