Group Members:
Keith Caldwell, lead vocalist/songwriter; Clay Howell, pianist, vocals/songwriter; Judy Weber, vocalist
Influences:
Rodney Atkins' song "Watching You"; Jason Michael Carroll's "Alyssa Lies"; and Annie Tate, Sam Tate, and Dave Berg's song "Moments" recorded by Emerson Drive are three great examples of incredible writers who tell amazing stories that touch people. I also like the Beatles, Gino Vanelli, and (if you've ever met her you'd love her personally as much as her talent) Jennifer Holliday.
Sounds Like:
I do a great impersonation of Johnny Mathis, but for some reason, when people hear me sing, I get asked to sing Josh Groban songs at weddings, and I'm not a high tenor. I do have a classical background, but I have sung in nightclubs for over 20 years singing top 40's tunes of every genre, so I can jump back and forth from country to opera if I want. But I prefer to sing all religious music now.

from Keith...
Life was going great in 2007 and then. . . kidney disease struck. "I'm not a diabetic", I thought, "Why am I about to go on dialysis?" Well, I had to stop everything, which gave me more time to put into a little recording project with my longtime writing partner, Clay Howell. We were about to record an Easter musical we wrote in 1999 to make sure it was not a lost work. Well, with the new time I gained, Clay and I decided to start working on Monday and Thursday nights. We dined, read the Bible, prayed, and wrote lots of music. The outcome was the album "A God of Second Chances". We released the first track, "Come Hungry To His Banquet Table" and hit #1 in July 2008 and was on the charts for a total of 9 months remaining in the top 10 for 5 months.

Then we released the title track, "A God of Second Chances", and it hit #5 within 2 months on the CGC chart. Now, it is climbing up the Christian Voice chart with Decembers chart just being announced for me at #6 and still climbing.

Oh, the kidneys, after over a year on heavy doses of Prednisone (awful stuff), my kidneys are doing better and no dialysis.

God continues to bless me each and every day!

In July 2008, "Come Hungry To His Banquet Table" co-written with the song's vocalist, Keith Caldwell, marked the first #1 Hit Single for both men as songwriters and Keith's first #1 Hit Single as a Gospel Recording Artist. As a pianist and vocalist, Clay has performed almost every type of music known to man at myriad venues from concert halls to churches to New York style cabarets.
