Each member pretty much has varying musical tastes, so when you put it all together, there is no telling who you could pinpoint as an influence. We just call is hard edged rock mixed with a little bit of metal, layered with melodic vocals.

Hemotheory (2002)
What started out as a two-man studio project, turned out this powerful first, self-titled CD from Hemotheory. This digitally mastered CD features our radio release, "New Level" along with four other tracks: "Find Me", "Colors", "Home" & "Poder en la Sangria." Now you can grab a copy of the CD that started it all.
BONUS TRACKS: We've sweetened this CD deal even more. We've added the live audio tracks from the "Live in P-Town" DVD show above: Colors, Freedom Song, Lift, and New Level. Now there are nine tracks in all.

HEMOTHEORY is a tight band hailing from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Our musical roots come from many styles and genres of Rock, Metal, Techno, Pop, Punk, Industrial, and Hip-Hop. We combine all of those diverse styles along with an emotionally charged, positive message for the soul, to create powerful, edgy, heavy rock music. Music that is geared to inspire and encourage the masses through the true ROCK that inspires us.
The band began in 2001 as a two-man music project with vocalist Scott Till and guitarist Nathan Jones, and gave birth to five hard, edgy rock songs with a melodic spoken word/rap vocal approach. This was released and is commonly referred to as the 2002 "Demo." From there, the search for a live band began. After more than a year of playing live shows locally, the band (made up of Scott Till, Jeremy West (guitars), Jesse Wasseburg (bass) and Jeff McCormack (drums) recorded both the video and audio for one of their outside shows (and actually the last show for Jesse and Jeremy), and put together a four song live DVD from that show.
In early 2006, the new line-up (then with Robin Feathers on bass, and Jason Scannell on guitar) collaborated on a very heavy rap/rock song with hip-hop recording artist Sean Slaughter, entitled "Run." The song was released as a single, being a a cool mix of two genres of music and received some excited local attention. "Run" was re-recorded in full for the band's first official studio CD, Zeta.
In April 2007, HEMOTHEORY hit the studio to record their first full-band studio record. Shortly after the recording process, personnel changes found Robin moving over to guitar duties, and the addition of Neil Mobley on guitars and David Carraway on bass. So, with a new line-up, a new CD, and a new focus, Hemotheory hit 2007/2008 ready to make an impact musically on all they come into contact with. In 2008 Robin stepped aside and in came Seth Benton on guitars, and as we begin writing material for our next CD, we're still actively hitting it live. We hope you'll join us for the ride.
