Seeds of Summer (2010)
A heart-warming contemporary romance set in the Flint Hills of Kansas where a former rodeo queen abandons her dreams in order to care for her deceased father's ranch and her two half-siblings, only to realize with the help of a young new pastor that God can turn even the most dire circumstances into seeds of hope.
Spanning the Seasons of the Tallgrass, each story in this series reveals the struggle of the people who live there and the dreams they have for the land until they come full-circle in a never-ending cycle, just as man comes full-circle in his understanding of God.

Hello. I write contemporary Christian romance and my debut novel, Snow Melts in Spring, is now available in your favorite bookstores or online. The Seasons of the Tallgrass series captures the spirit and dreams of ordinary people living in the Flint Hills of Kansas, one of the last tallgrass prairie regions in the world. Each story is woven around God's beautiful creation and His never-ending cycle of faithfulness and amazing grace. I live in SE Kansas with my husband and daughters where we raise Quarter Horses.
Please visit my website to learn more about my writing. You may also visit my blog to learn more about the Kansas Flint Hills, horses, and Country Life in general. Updated weekly, I also offer free book drawings, and updates on my writing.
Some of my interests include reading, playing piano, cooking, sewing, camping & gardening. I like classical and country music, and have a new fondness for movie soundtracks. Some of my favorite movies include Dances with Wolves, Pride & Prejudice, Remember the Titans and Cinderella Man. A few of my favorite books are Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, Peace Like a River by Leif Enger, Color the Sidewalk for Me by Brandilyn Collins, and Let Them Eat Cake by Sandra Byrd.

Hi Deborah,
Thank you for the information, I will definitely check them out. I have take a couple of evening courses through a community college close to me, but nothing more than that. Time is always an issue, but I know it is something one has to take time for and I am trying to do that.
I have one of your books on order - I am looking forward to reading it.
God Bless you!
Lori

Hi Deborah,
I look forward to reading one of your books. I live in Iowa and love horses, although I do not have any now. I have a desire to write and hope that someday I will have something I have written in print. It is a life-long dream of mine to do that.
I look forward to becoming acquainted and praying God's blessings in your life,
Lori

Nice meeting you Deborah! Thanks for the friend request.
It sounds like you have a very nice life there in Kansas (and great taste in movies). My aunt and uncle have lived in Lenexa for years, which I think is somewhere over in your neck of the woods.
Talk to you later! God bless--
Lisa
