I am an author, editor and speaker, but first a Christ follower. I was born and raised by a single mother in a tiny Texas town where the thought of it was simply unheard of. My passion is to encourage single parents and their children. God holds a special place for you in His heart. Believe it!

I am also the 2008 president of the DFW Ready Writers, the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of ACFW. The people I have met and the friends I have made have transformed my life. Check in often for photos and updates.

I currently have two blogs. Simple Living, Christian Style focuses on God's principles for every day living. I update this each Tuesday and Thursday. My other blog is Be a Barnabas where I encourage single mothers to live in God's glory. I am God's Cheerleader and this is the place for motivation and God's love. It doesn't matter where we've been. It matters where we're going.
