Clayton B. Howell's Songs Sit Atop The Charts

Clayton B. Howell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance and has been honored with multiple Songwriting Awards during his professional career, which started at the young age of fifteen.

Clay has had several of his original songs hit the Top Ten on the charts. Currently, "The Cross Began To Call" co-written with the song's vocalist, Keith Caldwell, is doing well on the Christian Voice, Circuit Rider and CGC charts after debuting at #5. In July 2008, Clay had his first #1 Hit Single with "Come Hungry To His Banquet Table" also co-written with Keith Caldwell. The title track from the same CD, A GOD OF SECOND CHANCES, debuted at #5 and spent several weeks on the national and International Gospel charts. "Comin' Home", written by Clayton B. Howell and recorded by Gary R. Smith, hit #2 in December 2007.

As a Pianist and Vocalist, Clay has performed almost every type of music known to man at myriad venues from concert halls to churches to New York style cabarets.

Currently, Clay and his songwriting partner, Keith Caldwell, are producing their second Gospel CD, THE CROSS BEGAN TO CALL, promoting their first Gospel CD, A GOD OF SECOND CHANCES and building the KCCH Music Publishing Co. Online Store of published sheet music. Oh, and in his spare time, he co-leads the 8:30 worship at Westbury UMC with his group the "Soul Revivers."
