We've been told our harmonies are alot like Wilson Phillips from the 80's.
Discography
Circle of Love (2007)
It would be safe to assume that Melina and Roxanne put their heart and soul into their debut album. As the ladies will tell you, each song deals with questions and the growth they have encountered as young Christians.
From the song "My Soul" which talks about the longing our soul has and how we love God for blessings in our lives, to the thought provoking title track "Circle of Love" which ponders why Christians profess love but sometimes question whether everyone belongs. This CD takes you on a journey where you will find the answers deep in your own spirit.
Call Light starts off the CD with gorgeous harmonies which run throughout. It delivers not only strong vocal performances and musical arrangements but, lyrics that touch your heart when you least expect it. There is definetly more than one song in this collection that will speak directly to God's spirit that resides inside each of us.
Reelphat Media Group is delighted to give you Melina and Roxanne, "Call Light", and Circle of Love - Fall 2007.
Melina and Roxanne started singing at young ages in their Grandfather's church. Melina played piano and was one of the youngest worship leaders in her hometown. Roxanne became part of the youth choir and drew attention with her solos. Both girls continued to be involved in the music ministry after their Grandfather's death, moving to another church in their community. Their love of music spilled over into school, where both were members of choir, chamber choir, and Belles and Beaux. Under the direction of Michael Weiher, Melina and Roxanne both competed in high school singing competitions and won many awards in individual competitions as well as group competitions. Melina auditioned for and won many solos, while Roxanne excelled in drama classes taking the lead rolls in such productions as "Grease" and "The Boyfriend."
Although their lives briefly took them away from the church in adulthood, their hearts never allowed them to stray to far from their roots. Both became wives, mothers, and working women. Daily striving to be a role model, good person, and "do the right thing." During this time, each had their own heartache and tragedy and always felt something was missing from their lives. This emptiness and the holy spirit tugging on their hearts eventually lead the ladies back to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Each has their own testimony of God's protective, loving hands over their lives as they made the journey back to the Lord.
Over the years, Melina and Roxanne have had the pleasure of singing at many church functions. Each has honed their vocal skills by singing with various groups and bands.
Smoking hot producer Jody "Reelphat" Daniels of Reelphat Media Group, has assembled a thought provoking and uplifting project for the ladies entitled "Circle of Love."

Hi Melina and Roxanne.
It seems ages since I caught you on line !
How are things going with you both ?
Geoff and I are sick of the winter already. We have both had a very strong Flu virus that won't leave home. We are looking forward to the rain stopping and some bright sunshine.
Have a great weekend and take care of each other,
Blessings,
love,
Wyn.
Just stopping by to say "Hello" ! I am feeling better and getting stronger with each day. Still need to take it easy for a short time longer. I hope things are going well for you. God has been fruitful in giving me another chance at life, and I am going to embrace that opportunity as much as possible for HIM ! Embrace your Life as completely as you can. We may not always get a Second Chance !

I have missed my time here on ShoutLife!... And it is good to be back. I must take it a little slow, but as most who know me, I do not enjoy being down for a long time - I like to be out and about, moving all the time, traveling and meeting new people, and speaking.
As most know already, I woke up on July 4th and could not breath. On July 6th I was admitted to the Emergency Room at Marshall Medical in Albertville where an X-Ray showed some "Fluid in the Lungs", and an EKG showed a "Second Degree Heart Block #2". On July 7th I was admitted to Trinity Hospital in Birmingham for a Cardiac System "Catherization" to detemine any blockage of the veins. They found no excessive blockage. A second Ekg was done and found I had a "Weak Heart Muscle". I was kept two nights where they could monitor my heart. They did a third and fourth EKG and confirmed from those I did in fact have a "Second Degree Heart Block #2", which affects the lower heart muscle. The Doctors thought they could handle the condition with medication over the next few days, but it did not work. The Doctors then advised me to have a "Pacemaker" to help the heart muscle react into a normal mode. On July 14th I was admitted to Trinity Hosptial in Birmingham for a "Pacemaker". The Procedure went well... I was kept overnight again so they could monitor my heart and make sure everything was working properly, and then was released the next day to go home.
I am at home now with a much more normal acting heart, resting comfortably, breathing comfortably. I have to take it easy for the next couple of weeks. No lifting my left arm; no bending over; no lifting of any kind; no exercising; no walking up and down stairs; no driving; sponge bath only for the first week. Depending on how I feel, I may be able to drive next week. I am on medication to help keep things regulated. I will get my first pacemaker checkup on July 29th by phone, with a regular schedule then of every six months. I have a Doctors visit on Aug 1st in Birmingham.
I am looking forward to seeing my ShoutLife Friends smiling faces again on my ShoutLife! Page... God has been fruitful in giving me another chance at life, and I am going to embrace that opportunity as much as possible for HIM ! I ask all of you to do the same - Embrace your Life as completely as you can. We may not always get a Second Chance !

I am asking for prayer, please stop by and read my newest blog.
Police Officer Andrew W. was shot in the face point blank and killed, he is close to people I know and leaves behind a wife and 3 little ones. He was a man of God.
I am also asking for us to intercede for all the people who are on the side of Christ, to put on the Armor of Light. If you can and will be in agreement please pray this prayer with me and the ones I send this to today!
Oh, Father in Heaven,
You know and see all as there is nothing that is hidden from You, You know all things before we even ask it, but because You want us to ask in our relationship with You, we ask Father to come boldly before your throne of Grace and we ask today that You cloth and dress Your children, and all of those on the side of Christ to be Armored in Light. We stand before You Father and ask for You to send your Holy Angels into the firmament to war against the powers of darkness and protect us with the Light of Christ as we move and know Your will be done. Father thank You so much for who You are and the gift You give to us of LIFE.
In Christ Jesus name I pray today, Amen! www.youtube.com/v/8welVgKX8Qo&hl=en
Romans 13 ~ Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resists the power, resists the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he bears not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenge to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore you must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor. Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loves another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love works no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put you on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
UPDATE - July 16, 2008 - Ms. Mitchell was diagnosed with a "Weak Heart Muscle", translated to a "Second Degree Heart Block #2" on Sunday July 6th, and on Monday July 7th she was admitted to Trinity Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, for a "Catherization" procedure to rule out blocked arteries. Her "Catherization" procedure came out negative with no blocked arteries. On Monday July 14, she was admitted to Trinity Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama for a "Pacemaker" procedure. She was released on Tuesday July 15th and taken home. She rested well throughout that afternoon and night and is doing better today ! She looks forward to being back on ShoutLife! to converse with all her friends very soon !
Thank you to all of Ms. Mitchell's ShoutLife! Friends for your prayers and support ! Please continue your prayers and blessings. Send Her an E-Mail

Many are seeking worldly wealth,
And those treasures can be found,
But what does it profit a man
Who is still in darkness bound?
He is not free to really live,
Though his wealth may multiply,
For he was created for God?
And God alone can satisfy?
People Need the Lord!
Bound in sin, spiritually dead,
A lost soul misses so much,
And those chains that bind are broken?
Only by the Master's touch.
The one who diligently seeks
The Lord while He may be found,
Shall find in Him hidden treasures?
And true riches shall abound?
People Need the Lord!
Set free from the bondage of sin,
And joint heirs with Jesus Christ?
In Him we have all that we need
To live joyful, peaceful lives.
God provides wisdom and knowledge?
His moral law is instilled,
And when His Spirit enters man?
The hunger within is filled?
People Need the Lord!
"Seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near"
Jesus said: "What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world,
and lose his own soul?"
(Isa 55:6; Mk 8:36)
